Has anyone ever fished up in there? I live within 30 minutes and have always been very curious about that area.

If so, how is the fishing? What kind of size do you get in there?

also, is there much offshore stuff anywhere? sandbars, humps, etc?

thanks

i fish there a few times a year, theres a lot of small fish in there, 3 pounds is a good fish in there, but there are 8 pounders in there, not really any offshore structure. theres a bunch of spotted bass in there, its a cool place to fish though

Its damned up in two places. Its really like a skinny lake. You can run it fairly easily. Just stay in the middle. Its about 16ft deep. If you start going towards the lake waco damn just be careful. There are some sharp blind turns. Just like the post above a 3Ib er is a great fish. I would suggest going to lake Waco instead.
