I am not sure I would believe that...Being from there and growing up on the lake.....I doubt it.....but who knows, right? To my knowledge and visiting with FW fisheries, the closest lake to Cleburne with hybrids would be Benbrook.

Back in the day on Texoma, I caught( on back to back casts ) 2 of the the funniest shaped stripers. Both would weigh about 9lbs and had skid marks like they had went over the dam somewhere. ( maybe Lake Waurika ? ) That was the first time I ever caught hybrids. I have never caught one on Texoma since.
good luck

Hendo! Somebody we went to high school with tried to convince me they caught a striper at Old Foamy once...I cannot remember their name, but the only thing I ever caught there was perch.

I keep telling Bryan King we need to go out to Lake Pat and fish for sandbass and catfish, but never can get him to do it. We have been over the bridge a few times and see quite a few boats out. I have been wanting to get on Lake Pat for a year or so now and have not done it. Is there just one ramp now? Last time I was by the westside ramp it was shut down.

I like Aquilla, but it has been a long time since I have been there. Masterson caught a 10 1/2 out of there and is wanting to go back.

Steve,
I travel down to Stephenville every now and then visiting my in-laws. I always tell my self after passing over that lake that one of these days I'm going to come down and fish lake cleburne. Well, never have done it yet.

So if you ever want to, give me a call. I'll go down with you. If interested, E-mail me and I'll give you my phone #.

Don't do it. Cleburne is eaten up with golden algae. All of the fish are floating on top! wink wink laugh

When did Cleburne get the golden algea? I live in Joshua and have not heard anything about it. I have several friends who fish Cleburne all the time and none of them have mentioned it. In the past catfishing and sandies have always been fun out there. Biggest Black Bass from Cleburne was 6.5lbs.

Steve:
The last time I fished Cleburne(last fall) all the ramps tho none the gratest were in use. Usually use the down lake west ramp as it puts me close to what water I like. The east ramp near golf course is also used by many but I don't use it becaise of its location from granbury. Have used ramp at 67 bridge but always apprenhesive because of the poeople around here. Usually catch snadies on slabs or hell pet rig. Get in touch and i will make myself available to fish with you.
T gil, where did you get the golden and cleburne information, haven't seen any information to such on the Pand WL page nor any indication when on lake?
