I can't get over how healthy that fish looks as well. Perfect symmetry.

Looks like Choke is all but finished. I bet you that was the last big fish in the lake.

Congrats! What a fish!

Congrats on catching her you certainly must have been excited. thumb

I cannot stress enough to folks fishing and bass clubs to PLEASE take care of your fish when landing her, handle her very little (pictures etc) and keeping her in the live well for a minimum amount of time. When a Share A Lunker is caught, weighed and certified it is not the long ride to Athens that does her in, its how stressed out she is already after being caught. Everyone should try to take them in immediately and not haul them around in their live well till weigh in.

I commend the Bass Champs staff for opening up their scales early during their events in case a lunker needs to be brought in.

Debra smile

May be showing a little novice here, but with a full belly of eggs, could that fish possibly contend for a state record? She doesn't look abnormally full, so I'm guessing she's not full of roe right now.

If she was at peak spawn weight, could she be 18.19? That's just slightly over 3 lbs
