Hit Grapevine this am with my son for a couple hours. We got one channel cat up in the stumps up in Denton Creek area. Had a couple other hits that didn't hook up. It was cold, but not too bad. The motor sure does hate the cold though. Takes a while to get her running smooth. The water is real high right now and about 44 degrees. Caught the fish and the other bites on frozen shad I had from the fall. Gonna try some store bought fish for bait when I can get to a Fiesta/Carnival

I've had both good and bad days on the Vine. Usually do pretty well on the west end of the lake where Denton and Marshall creeks come into the lake. I know others that do well drifting in different places.
