I was wondering if any of you might have old pictures ( late 80's - 90's ) of Lake Fork you would be willing to share here online. They seem hard to find.
Thanks in advance.

I've got some older pics, when you couldn't even see from one side of the lake to the other because of all the standing timber. I took them to have them scanned and put on a disc, but the quality (of my pics) was terrible and can't be seen very well on my computer.
I've got a bunch of fish pics I wanted to post, but it was no to be.

-Alton Exactly what I was looking for, just wish the quality was good enough to post. I wonder if there is a way to clear them up. Anybody?

I may have some at my parents house in Longview. As a kid our spring breaks were either spent at Toledo Bend or Lake Fork. I know we have some pics of my dad and I in the mid 80's when all the timber was still standing fishing Fork.

I have some taken before any of the public ramps were even in the water. We had to put the boat in off the side of the road. From the bottom of the 515 bridge down to the water was probably 40 or 50ft. My scanner is broken and I need to find the pics but if I can I will post them. The turn-around hump was in about 2 feet of water at that time.

i missed fork in its hayday.. i was there but i was crappie fishing with my dad. some real barndoors caught back then.. we only drove about 100yds every time we went - to the same spot so i dont remember all the trees. i'd like to see some of these pics and see how the trees were when it first flooded.

If you still have the negatives you can use the machine at Walmart to make a Digital CD I did that with some pix not long ago. I'll have to see if I have some negatives of Old Fork.. but we did a lot more fishing than camera work back in the day. Photos were expensive to develop and keeping up with old school camera film was a pain in the back side.

I have some pictures of fork. The best pic I have is of the 515 boat ramp and big trees right behind where you put your boat in. I will post them tomorrow night when I get home.

I have a VHS tape taken somewhere from 1983-1987 on a March guided trip. If I new how to do it I'd put it up here. I looked at it a few months ago to see if I could figure out what parts of the lake we were fishing, but way to much standing timber to tell. Just unbelieveable............
Guides name was J.B. Barnes, ring any bells?
