What types of lures are being used on RC when you find top water action?
If you give a man a fish you feed him for the day, But if you teach him how to fish you feed him for life.

Clear torpedo always works for me. I have thrown the extact same one for over 15 years!
Sometimes I think the world has gone completely mad. And then I think, "Aw, who cares?" And then I think, "Hey, what's for supper?"

I like to use a model a crankbait, that gets down about 4 feet and though the fun of having them explode on topwater is gone you tend to get a little better fish and you can stop the retrieve and it will float back up and usually gets a strike. I learned this from Doyle Holman and he catches 1000's of fish on RC.
For a topwater, I like to use a spitting image

I have been tossing the same old rattletrap at them for the last month or so....you should see how beat up it is.....it is going to have to break off for me to get rid of it..LOL
Back about a month ago, we and Bob Holmes were getting lots of hybrids on rattle traps...

I have had great success using blue/white Tailhummers (5/8 oz.) and white or char. Humdingers (3/4 oz.). These lures sink pretty fast and tend to pick up larger fish. They are good for hybrids, too. Also an advantage is that you can cast them a long way and accurately.
Best lures I have ever used.

How do you guys work a spoon? I like to let it sink and flutter through a group of baitfish bustin the surface, if I see that. But I'm not sure the best ways to work it otherwise.
