Was contemplating a trip to Lake Guerrero in the Spring. There a lot of good quality fish or just a lot of avg fish?

Thanks

The last time I was there, we caught lots of fish. Majority were in the 2 to 4 pound range. My best for the 3 days was 9 1/2. I really think if you are looking for more trophy size fish, there are numerous places to go that are better in Mexico, and on the Texas Border as well.

I went to El Salto about 3 years ago. It was a lot of fun, but a lot of medium size fish.

What other lakes, except for Amstad, are there around the border that are good?

We didn't catch as many fish at Lake Guerrero as we did at Lake Comedero. Those are the only 2 Mexican lakes I fished and Guerrero was a much tougher lake to fish and Comedero was very good.
