 Lake Austin off limits due to flood gates

Effective today, Mansfield Dam will be releasing from two gates. Lake Austin and Town Lake will be off limits to boats until Monday morning, June 14 ... just thought some of ya might want to know !

Local news said last night that LCRA closed Inks, LBJ, and Marble Falls Lakes due to high water and debris in the water. I was planning to fish for crappie under the bridges in Kingsland on Friday night. So much for that idea. No doubt we have been dumped on the last few days.
