Not that familiar with the lake. Don't want spots just general info.

My best success on Lewisville this time of year is deep water 10 to 15 ft around main and secondary points. The dam area is another great choice. Use a shaky head in 1/8 oz (3/16 oz if windy) and hop in SLOOOOOOOOWLY down the breaklines. Here is a pic of my brother from last Feb. when he came to visit from Virginia. This fish and several others were caught off of the dam. Hope this helps.

Thanks Lrat. I was about to give up on this site. Seems like every time I post something they are more tight lipped than a Ray Bob bass this time of year. If I had asked for a type of jig or something they would have been coming out of the woodwork trying to promote something.

it will be community water, but look in Tower bay and the marinas around this area. My staple is as always a drop shot with some color of roboworm

Do you fish the marinas in the colder months also? I've seen them mentioned as a good place to go in the summer months.

I like them in the winters more than the summer! During the summer it seems they won't bite in there I have to venture off.

all cost stay away from the marinas during the summer. Winter time I would throw a big jig at some rock!!

PB for Lewisville came from the dam between the old and new lake. New lake(lewisville) side I was "bouncing" a little george of all things down the face of the dam. More a gravel/small rock area so hangups not as much a problem. Try the same thing with a jig. Park deep, cast toward bank and hop it back. Good Luck. 361V
