they have been biting spoons for me all winter. Its been hard to find many overs but its not hard at all to get plenty of 15-16in largemouth right now. It does take a little searching though sometimes you might have to graph for an hour before you find active fish, use your graph and find the bait and you can sit on them and catch both spots and largemouth. My best depth has been active fish about 20ft deep over deeper water, generally 55-60ft with tree's. 3/4oz silver jigging spoons

Did Ross tell you to ask about Alan Henry so it wouldn't look like he was the person asking?

Haha Clint

Spoons off main lake points, river ledges, or around any suspended fish in gereral. Havent done much cranking lateley but Im sure that bite is there. If your wanting to catch a really good fish head up the river and flip the thickest cover u can find, or throw a big spinerbait in the lanes, ratles and pork trailers on your jigs, rattles and huge colorado blades on your spinerbaits! shakey head riged plastics and football jigs are stil productive but I cant stress enough how slow you have to present these baits, every time I have caught a fish lately I have devoted at least 30 to 40 minutes to the exact location that the fish came out of.Last time I got on the water out there I went at night. It sure was cold but the bite is alot better. Pm me if your planning on goin out there after dark for some more info.

Nope...I figured he has already asked everybody in
person. If I'm going drive all the way from Del Rio I wasn't just going to sit around the dock and let you college guys have all of the fun!

Thanks for the info guys. It sounds like it may be tough. It will be much better when you get here in a couple of weeks.

Glenn
