With that cold front blowing in, I couldnt give you advice. It will drastically effect the way the sandies bite.

Jack Spirko and I plan on going out tomorrow to fish in the coolness to check it out. Im sure one of will post what we find.

Let us know how you do.

Went out tonight with Jack Spirko. We only had about an hour of light by the time we got there. The topwater temp was only 80 but we found fish suspended in 36 and we hellpetted the heck out of them.

We looked at some of the hot fall places but there werent fish on them just yet.

I will be on the water Saturday morning with clients. I will be fishing that afternoon so come say hey if your out.

Hey Hal--good report! I'm amazed the fish are still suspended this late in the year. Has to be the record heat. Thanks for finding them- -We have been looking on the humps etc. and finding nothing!

I beleive the thermocline was more pronounced this year than i've seen it in years. Was showing up on my sonar on most places on the lake.

Thermocline says it all and tells up why the fish are stacked up.........even still.

Look for that to change in the next few weeks.
