Lake Raven in Huntsville. I like Raven, fished it a few times myself. Out here, a little lake I have enjoyed is Oak Creek. Fayette County is one of my favorites when I am back home.

There are lots of great little lakes in TX! In fact, some of these little lakes have produced bigger "offical" records that such big namers as Choke and Falcon and Amistad. For instance, Gibbons Creek has a record LMB of over 16 lbs. The other 3 lakes are only in the mid 15's!
Now, there are endless lakes in TX that are in the 1-3k acre range that are awesome. However small these lakes are, they are still big enough for most bass anglers to have heard about. I'm going to throw out the name of a small lake that most of yall probably have never heard about!
There is a small lake in Seabrook TX called lake, Meeha/Meja (Spelling)! This lake is a Neighbor hood lake that is prolly less than 50 acres. However, it has some very good fish in it, or at least it did 5 yrs ago!
I found this lake while in College at San Jac College and we fished it daily. It used to be an old gravel pit so the water is very clear and good quality, in fact I heard that some biologist did a study and found it to be the best water east of Austin! This lake has flats, humps, rock piles, flood timber, and grass!
Now, we mostly just fished the bank of this lake, and could only fish a small section where there were not houses. We always caught lots of bass and would usually catch something around 5 lbs every time. After a while we hooked up with a homeowner that had a small boat and started fishing it right. During a night tourny we caught 150 fish between 2 people! The lake record was supposed to be 12 lbs, but that was 5 yrs ago. Also, this lake was chalk full of catfish, even had yellow cats.
I havent seen it in 5 yrs but heard that you can not fish from the bank anymore cause of all the new houses. I dont know how it fishes these days but Im sure it is still good.
Anybody ever heard of this lake?

White Rock lake and Bachman can both be really good
The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Winnsboro - I love this lake. It can be 50mph winds on Fork and dead calm over there.

My favorite small lake around here would be Bastrop. When I was in school I fished lake bryan quite a bit and that lake was always real good to me.
