Of course I'm not serious, I know a bunch of river rat rednecks would never listen to me. What makes you think any of them will listen to you and your crusade? You are right about sunscreen (I wear a big hat and long sleeve shirt) and I am right about not pissing in the water, and we both know we are not going to change anything. If one person avoids what I've been thru lately by listening to "my crusade" I've been successful at something I consider a good thing. The response has been overwhelmingly positive by the way. And I am one proud river rat redneck. Good luck to you in your pursuits. I hope you do well.

Anybody fishing Rowlett creek is fishing in the discharge from garland sewer treatment plant. Years back you could smell it a mile away.

Does anyone fish behind the dam after dark? If so, how's the crappie fishing?

crappie fishing at night behind the dam is incredible, if the gates are closed or there is only one running, get in a canoe or yak or tube and get out to the 3rd piling of the railroad tracks and drop a 1/4 oz tnt chart. slab with a flies - by -night glow in the dark fly about 18" above and you'll be pulling doubles up all night. if a lot of the gates are open then try behind the wall of the fishing pier. minnows work well as well as blue, white grub tail tubes on a 1/32 oz unpainted head
