Just took mine apart after a year of hard use. Still like new inside. For $50,it can't be beat.

I completly agree! Used mine in salt and in fresh and still works like a charm.

yup, got mine when they were on sale for 24 bucks awhile back, i fish about 3-4 times a week and have used it every outing since and have never even cleaned it and it still works like a champ... i only fish saltwater and it has been dunked a couple of times while wading
