Friend of mine caught this 18lb 12oz, 32.5 inch hybrid over the weekend. Des Moines River, Iowa.

This time last year, a 19lb 10oz was caught... same spot..

Nice fish Dave. That is what I am fishin for every time I am out on the water. But so far finding one is holding even with me finding the 6 magic numbers on Lotto nite. Does not keep me form returning time and again however. Great picture.

what a pig
what's the pheasant crop like this year?

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Great googly moogly, what a beast!! I guess the hybrids like their natural river habitat . . . . .
