Is there anyway to get to fish off the dam rocks. Or should i say the rocks at the dam. Is that area off limits?
If you caught a ride to the dam with someone would the make you leave? Catching a ride back might be a problem lol.

besides getting in trouble for being on the dam, one of them river otters that live in those rocks might eat your toes off!!!!!!! heeheehee

I hit the lavon spillway up and do okay... A lot of it depends on if the gates are open though.

at tawakoni- anchor inn , state park, west end of 2 mile, quite a walk from where to park but the small channel that runs through the short bridge about three miles east of the 2 mile bridge on 276, west tawakoni city park when a north wind is blowing... lots of places to try from the bank

Hey Bull have not seen you on here latley. Where is your buddy Dam?
Folks understand lots of good fishing place from the bank but they are getting harder and harder to find. Was just really wondering if you got dropped off on the rocks if they would let you fish from there. They let you anchor off to them and fish within 10ft. so thought they might just not say anything if you sat ont the rocks and fished as long as you did not come over the dam or down the dam road. Anyone tried it? I am pretty sure first time might be a freebie if they did not want you there but have seen no signs or anything saying stay off. Might try one of these days if I can find someone willing to give me a lift over and PROMISE they will return when they are ready to go and bring me back. Would hate to have to spend a night on those rocks. Might be like hookem says wake up to find a couple toes gone.
