I'm tired all of the time. I can't breathe most of the time. My family does not like to be around me during and after I smoke because I stink and they quit. My father died of chronic heart disease. My mother had it to. I'm 37 and I need to make some serious changes this year. I started taking Chantix yesterday. I can already tell it's working. I've quit before for 6.5 years but all it took was one night out with friends that smoke socially and was hooked within 2 wks been battling it ever since for the past 3 yrs.

Good luck, just believe in yourself and every time you think of one, take a big deep breath and slowly exhale. It kind of reminds you why your quitting.

Well It's day 3 of the quit. I'm doing ok. I've had a rough morning but got through it w/o any ciggs But I am eating more right now but I know that will slow down as I get used it. I've quit before for 6.5 years. Just a few nights out with friends that only smoke when they go out.

Keep it up Yankee Gal, I ate a bunch the first 2 weeks, now on week 3 and starting to tapper off on the eating and started exercising again.

Well I've lasted through day four and into day five now. :-D
