Is it worth spending the money on if my boat sits in storage from October to March, or would it be better to buy a decent rain suit for the warmer months? I hunt pretty hard, so any fishing trip I take during the winter would be on the rare perfect days. What say you?

It doesn't matter how you find the pot of gold, all that matters is that you beat the leprachaun.

They have a suit that is below the 100 mph suit called pro classic or something to that effect. I love mine and would replace it in a heart beat if I ever lost it with the same suit. I would recommend the bibs over the pants. The suit is not as heavy as the 100 mph thus it would be better for the months you are talking about but also good enough to keep you plenty warm in winter with the right undergarments.

I have the 100 mph and feel it is some of the best money I have ever spent. Bibs are a must.

If you only fish March to September a good Frogg Togg bib suit will do nicely. I've had one for 3 years and it still keeps me dry and blocks wind pretty good on the cool, not cold, days.

I have a nice weather proof camo hunting jacket. It works great and I believe other people don't see me fishing my honey holes.lol

I have Cabelas guide wear jacket and bibs. I bought the cheaper BPS suit first and it was ok. It didn't take me long to upgrade when I caught wind of the Cabelas sale. I think they are comparable to the 100MPH BPS suits.

If something happened to my Cabelas guide wear I would replace it immediately.
