We had a birthday party down in Austin, so we fit this seminar into our plans this weekend. Took some pics to share... Guide, Keith Barnes of Highland Lakes Fly Fishing gave an excellent presentation, and Sportsman's Finest was a great host! He's a really knowledgeable and friendly guide who just wants to put people on fish. He gets 5 stars from me! Two things I learned yesterday : 1. fish the bottom with sinking line. 2. fish the bottom with sinking line. Thanks again Keith!        Guns up!  The shop...  The fly section

Think I have crossed paths with Kieth twice. Once was at a fly shop grand opening in RR and a second was at a buddies place out in East Bell county. Seem to be a fine fella' and knowledgeable too.

Dave, Let's go fishin!!!!! Ha! Didn't even know you were on here.....:) Enjoyed it! Sorry the pics are a little dark -- didn't want to use the flash and annoy people. We tried to fish late yesterday at LBJ -- too cold for us wimps!!

now i see he uses sinking line....? id assume hes fishing the main lake then.... because there is no need for sinking line for the run... the fish are shallow....
