I had a pidgeon fly through my line on a cast. I left the bail open hoping it would shake the line off. It didnt. I engaged the reel and the bird fell probably 60 feet into the water. He went skiing while I reeled him in. Cut the line away from him and he flew off.
aside from that, a compound bow, a car, thong, sex toy on a crankbait

old Zebco with a dead coot on the end of it
bullfrogs, turtles, a worm on a t-rigged worm
a 2in. shad on a 1oz spennerbait-in the mouth (which was about the same diameter as the hook)
I've wish I could find the picture, but I caught a smallmouth with no upper jaw.

How about a 2 foot gator deciding he wants your 7" tequila sunrise powerworm for lunch? Thanks to a stick with a forked end I was able to pin it down long enough to grab the neck and pop the offset hook out

how did that goose taste?
if the saying "insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result" is true, then 99% of bass anglers are aparently insane.

Caught a 6'+ Italian with a yellow magic on Joe Pool last year. I felt bad for him since he had to spend upwards of half an hour getting the hook out of his knee, so I just gave him the little yellow magic. Told him that if he could stand to dig it out of his knee that long, he deserved it! ( buried well past the barb into the side of the knee ).

Fishing a small golf course pond last year with a lil beaver on a shakey head jig, felt a bump..set the hook, the fight was on for about 20 min. Finally got it surfaced, and I had snagged a 60 lb turtle in the back of the shell. Normally turtles dont fight so hard, cause I seem to catch a lot if I'm catfishing. But not this guy, since he was snagged in back of shell, he was able to swim in the opposite direction with full force.
Also of note: multiple snakes on topwater frog.
My brother snagged a abu garcia 6500C on a cheap rod at T-wok one time, decided to give it to my grandfather....who had lost it overboard the season before. True story
