the ATC is not really a tournament as it is a fundraiser for CAG. There are no money prizes, only prizes donated by the sponsors. There is a side pot if you want to join that but the $175 entry fee goes towards the permit, insurance, awards, dinner, corn boil, etc.......... and any extra goes into CAG.
We used to have a local series put on by the Lone Star Carp Brigade but it stopped this winter due to lack of interest. I do not have time to run these series with my State Chair duties with the ATC and future fish ins. Hopefully Tracy gets back into it or someone else takes the ropes. It is a lot of work and thankless.

Look on the CAG forum under events. basically a 2 man team event, $175 per team to enter.

Marshall's weigh the fish, 6 Rods per team. Total team weight. The whole of Ladybird lake will be pegged.
I'm sure Scott posted the rules, but can't find them.

Jeremy you also have to be a member of CAG. Its only like $20 a year. You will need to cast out a ways there on LBL. Just a heads up as to what you will need. I plan on going down to see it all and to see what these guys are doing befor I commit to spend that kind of money for a tourny.

ATC rules are simple.....
2 man teams peg draw tournament must have fish safe net and mat all scales will be checked at the corn boil for accuracy Opposing team can verify weight of catch or marshall total weight wins, award for big fish too. 6 rods per team and only your teammate can touch your rods or play your fish. Anyone can net it for you No fishing Lady Bird Lake 1 week for before the tournament.

thanks for the info scott. i think i have all that covered, what constitutes a "fish safe net"? i've got a net but how do i know it's safe for carp/buffalo? as far as the mat goes, does it have to be a specific type or just something to keep the fish out of the dirt? i'm new to all of this but i enjoy the competetivness of tournaments and again anyone willing to partner up with me?
