The goose is not attacking him... the head dipping before he tries to mount him is classic mating foreplay with geese.. They bite the back of the females neck while doing the deed.
I think the head bobbing started when he gave him a fish.
Do a search on Goose mating habits on youtube and you will see the same thing every time.
This is still a great video.

we had geese bothering us at Lake Weatherford
on a family picnic
gave a jalapeno to 1
it left us alone after that

I'd say it scared him more than anything. Otherwise he could have reached up, grabbed it and gave it a throw. Easier said than done in the heat of love making.

I was kicking the heck out of them in the Denver zoo after they attacked my little boy once. Thought I was gonna get arrested but they were vicious. Then again, so was I!
