Now all you need to do is build 100 boo/pvc/willow/cedar condos, then build 100 brushpiles and you are set to begin.... No rest for the wicked.... Good luck and good fishing....
Crappie fishing... what else is there ??

Dear lord I'm jelous of were you go duck hunting! I shot nothing close to what you did this year, but it turned out to be a good year for the coast. Crappie fishing is easy, if you don't want to buy any structure. Just get you a fallen down tree with lots of limbs stick off, tie it to your boat and drag it to a good 15-20ft. drop off. The more structure you get down there, the better your chances. Crappie fishing is nothing compaired to the work of duck hunting!

Congrats on an excellent season. And of course we will see pictures of some crappie...Right? Oh Yeah, If I actually catch a few, I will be posting PICS. I just haft to put in a little time in to building & scouting for a structure or two. After freezing my buns off since Christmas, I am looking forward to some weekends, sitting in the sun, with a cold bottle of water in one hand, and a rod bent double in the other. I love Duck Hunting, but don't mind saying, by the time the season is over, I am ready for it to be over. The one thing I like about Crappie Fishing so far is the fact that information and help is not so secretive. Guys may not give their Honey Holes, but have been more than willing to help and educate the beginniners. That is refreshing. You can hardly pry a holy grunt out of a Duck Hunter. I don't require help in waterfowling after being a fowler for over 40 years, but I enjoy seeing guys willing to help others in their sport. keith www.creamlevel.com
