A flying mallard duck, twice and a white egret with a dang sharp bill.

Let's see, several clams, a beer can, a net, a rod and reel, a rock, panties, a fish basket (with several decomposed small fish in it), a really pissed off snake, and a fishing hat.

I caught a bug once that made me scream like a girl and Gabe Spencer dance like William Chow!

I've hooked myself past the barb twice. I caught a bird on a jig in mid air once. Also I caught a syringe with the plunger missing and a dead guppy in the barrel.
The snake in the picture chased down my popper.

I just remembered something that happened when I was a teenager. I was fishing off of a small, old pier in some brackish water. I hooked a pair of US Air Force aviators glasses in the opening above the nose slot. While reeling them up, one of the lenses fell out. I went back the next day at low tide and picked the lens up out of the mud right under the dock. As well as those USAF government issue glasses are, they couldn't have been in the water very long. I cleaned everything up and wore that pair of glasses for years.

what did you think when you hooked that shotgun

The first thing I saw was the stock and just thought it was an old BB gun, then got kinda excited when I realized what it was. Then it was like hmmmmmm, wonder how this got here, I was a little nervous... It was full of that black mud but not to bad so I called the police an just gave the numbers, it came back clear, I heard not to take them the gun, cause you'll never get it back.

Now that would freak me out

I have caught a bicycle on a worm and a muscle on a trap

I HAVE CAUGHT a snake, turtle, beaver, nutria and seagull.

I HAVE BEEN CAUGHT on the ear with a Orange Big-O by my buddy, in the leg with top water by another friend, in the arm with Roadrunner by my brother and in the nose with a one ounce slab by myself.

Despite these incidents I have never caught another person but came very close once.

I was fishing at the Dam at Texoma with a 12' Spinning rod and 2 ounce pencil popper. As I reared back to make a giant heave across the River a local Redneck stepped up close behind me and he let out a loud blood-curdling scream. I stopped just short of making the cast and looked back to see the line wrapped a couple times around his neck and the popper hanging there where it had sliced him like a close shave, just missing his jugular vein. After that I sat down for about an hour with the redneck and drank a beer. Then I went back to fishing(casting mainly) and he went home.
