Where and how can a guy find Ghost Minnows? Many times I have seen the boat next to me pulling them in while we try, most of the time its due to these minnows... if you can't beat em join them?

I'd catch lots of them with a 2-man seine, wading knee to waist deep. They keep pretty well, better than shad.

From experience, I can tell you that if your boys are old enough...let them help you sein them.

I have some memories of seining ghost minnows with my dad when I was younger. You catch all kinds of stuff too. They may enjoy it.

Oh...not sure you can buy them alive. Some places will sell them frozen.

They like a hard or sandy bottom. We get them around the boat ramps at night. Use a lantern or a crappie light to concentrate them in knee deep water and then run a seine through the area. You can get a bunch quick that way and it doesn't take long.

Im not sure how your lake is set up, but we used to throw net and sein the slack-water pools below the dam.
