Anyone out there ever done any LMB fishing on Richland Chambers? I know it is known for the other bass species but I would like to try it out sometime. That lake is big! Any areas of the lake have any vegatation of timber?

Better chance at Lake Fork for a bass.

It got to be a tough lake last year. It looks like they may have lost a spawn or two due to low lake levels then water coming up during the spawn. Happened on Tawakoni a few years back.

We had at least one LMB tourney here. One of the favorite areas was Long Arm Branch. The edges were natural and the cove separated into a few different fingers. Starting in early 2009, they dredged Long Arm and put in seawalls/retaining walls along most of the property. That really chased the LMB out. A few LMB have been caught under docks and areas where there is a natural shoreline. I have to agree, that there are other lakes that are better if you are only targeting LMB.

You're right on Lake Fork. I love that lake. The deal is I want to do a Saturday or Sunday trip. Lake Fork is a 5 hour one-way drive and Richland Chambers is a 3 hour journey. It's hard enough to drive 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours back home in one day. THANKS!!!

Lake Waco might be a cool lake to hit... seems like the fishing gets pretty good there in the spring and who knows, ya might bump into Alton Jones out there... just an idea... and that'd be a lot closer than RC. But yeah, it seems like I'm prob gonna be headed there for a tourney in March. Not totally excited about it, but hey at least we'll all be fishing under the same set of circumstances...

I don't really understand what has happened to this Lake if anything at all. This Lake was really Hot just a few Years ago and now you don't hear much about it in the way of LMB Fishing? I know that the last few times that My Club went it was not productive overall where it had been Great in the Past.

I'd lke to hit Lake Waco in the near future but that will take a 3-day weekend that I just don't have right now. Lake Waco is about 3 1/2 hours from my house.
