where is this lake located? We were planning a trip to Falcon next week but may have to make a detour. O.H, Ivie is near Abilene and just a slight Detour on your way to Falcon. LOL just a slight detour

If you go to Ivie on your way to Falcon, call Jerry at Elm Creek Marina for a room. Nice rooms, ramp right there and a great grill in the store. PM for a phone number if you decide to go. Also, I can try and help you with what to do or go.

Canton is about as close to Montana as it is Falcon by Texas standards.. right?

Spike Stoker's wife had a new baby this week, so he took off work to help her. She finally had enough of him hanging around the house. She told him to take their son fishing and get out of the house. So, he went to Ivie in a loaner boat (his is broke down). He didn't have GPS or even a depth finder. So, he just went to an area he knows and started fishing. He caught a 10, 9, 6 and a couple of 4's. Then this 11.4 beauty hit his jig and Hag's Undertaker craw. The funny thing was that he only had one of those baits with him and caught all those fish on that one bait.  He's tickled with the day he had and got to share it with his son.
