I have fished it a couple of times.Caught 1&2# channels, black bass and crappie. Never really had a good trip there. I have heard of people doing much better. It is a nice small lake though.

used to fish it a lot before they a) killed the hydrilla so the skiers could enjoy it more, and b) before the built all the houses around it. Used to catch a lot of big bass there but have only been out there a couple of short trips in the past 3 years. Not much to speak of although there are still some guys who can catch'em good there. Probably really good structure fishing lake now that there's no cover to speak of.

i fished there a number of times last year and caught a small handful of fish. it's a very tough lake, even during the best times of year. i don't know why, maybe lack of cover, maybe lack of baitfish... who knows. i've learned my lesson.

remember, lake worth is just down the road and fishes a lot better.

There are a number of carp in there. Not sure of any other areas to bank fish other than the ski area. I bass fished there for several years but haven't bass fished there in years.

I live off of Boat Club, and have fished both sides a few times. Its a great little lake for catching schooling bass or bream with the kids, but I've never been able to catch anything of size out of it. You might try Bob Jones Park over in Southlake or Grapevine Lake near Marshall Creek for decent catfish action from the bank.

From previous reports on here TFF, I understand that you are taking a chance to have your pull rig broken into at the ramp. Anyone know if that is still true at Marine Creek?

i would park over by the marine creek estates area(the big ramp).. and just fish where you can keep an eye on it. the lakes not really that big, so its easy to keep an eye on it.
