Want to catch fish of lifetime blues. Trip will include myself, wife and grandson (12) Needs to be the 27th of Feb.

The 27th is Cabelas Tournament on Tawakoni, so probably going to be hard to get a trophy trip on the lake that day. I would suggest booking with Tex from North Texas Guide service on lavon if it has to be that day.

my wife and i just got home from a trip with larry lawley on lavon. i highly recomend him. great guy and great guide. he has a head on his boat which would be huge to your wife. he will put you on the fish. http://www.capt-larry-east-texas-fishing-guide.com/index.html fished the shallows 9 cats 1 9#drum.

Bobby Kubin on Lake Lewisville will put you on some fish, He is a great guide. We had a geat trip with him.

TWOK is where I'd go for your best odds of a trophy in my opinion. Just take a quick glance of some of the threads on here from the past few weeks is all you should need to convince yourself. Hopefully you can get someone that isn't fishing the tourney that day. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
