How far is Ivie from Abilene? I just moved to town and I'm trying to plan a trip there soon.

From Abilene its not much over an hours drive. If you live in Abilene its the best lake around and well worth the drive!

You have Concho Park Marina and Elm Creek Marina. You would be coming in on the side of the lake toward the dam. This is the Elm Creek Marina area. Don't forget that you have to buy a lake permit at one of the marinas. It's only $5 a day.

I would have to guess that you are probably just under 3 hours from Granbury. You can go through Brownwood and get there pretty easy.

That would hurt to be that close to a SAL. Great fish, obviously.
