Had lots of laughs with Ronnie (from TFF) and his partners Joe and Martin on sat.. Caught most of our 53 keepers at Rockledge in 26 ft. When we would drift off 26 ft. we wouldnt get much. When the 11 boat show arrived we had this figured out so we stayed on target and did fairly well while watching the surrounding boats catch a dink here or there. Lucky for this spot because there wasn't much else at Murrell, the island, rock crusher or Meadowmere. All fish caught with slabs. Very little or no wind and a bit warm.

Don,

I was out with my daughter Saturday. I saw you at Rockledge but saw your clients and passed on by. We hit some big ones in front of the tires at Silver Lake Marina. We were catching 12 to 16 inch fish with very few smaller ones. She had a ball. (We didn't keep any.)

I used the Hell-Pet to find them but then switched to Humdingers.

I was on the north side of the dam Sat. not much happening, took off to go toward the Rockledge area but some swirling caught my eye. Spent the next hour with 2 boys in the middle of a feeding frenzy in about 40 ft water unhooking as many as they could catch. We didn't have to move it just kept happening around us, fed 11 people last nite on what the boys caught. As a newbie to this we had a blast.

A big thanks to Don for the fantastic trip on Saturday.

Don did't even get mad when I got off topic and went Buffalo hunting for a little while laugh

I explained to Don over the phone when we set up this trip that I was wanting learn to slab and get a better handle on reading the graph. Don was fantastic in answering any and all questions. I guess I got my money's worth because after we got in the car and left for home my buddies said it sounded like the Spanish inqusition with all the questions.

Also learned what everybodys talking about in regards to the color graphs....Way cool!

Again, Don thanks for the great time and fellowship everybody reported a good time.

OH by the way, If you drop your sun glasses overboard Don will not dive in after them! who_knows
