I am going to Cedar Hill State Park to do some crappie fishing does anybody have a opinions where to go in the park

there are a couple of piers! i have not been this season yet to see if they have dropped any brush. if not, these are concrete piers with very little cover for crappie! good luck!!!!

I've fished the piers several times before with very little success for bass, crappie, catfish, etc... I've caught some crappie at the barge in the state park from this time of the year on until late spring. During the spawn, you can catch them along the shoreline in shallow water.

They have a crappie barge that has alot of crappie, just no size to them...i went last year and caught tons of small ones.....but good luck!
