Any decent areas in the Grand Prairie to hit the banks near Joe Pool lake for some bass? I need to get the boat registered yet so I am looking to do some bank fishing this Saturday and Sunday.

I could also use the loaction of some good bank fishing spots around Joe Pool. I've tried almost ever pond i've came across and hadn't had much luck. There is a pond behind the damn of Joe Pool that seems to have some decent bass in it when the water is warm. Any advice or good spots would be appreciated.

My son caught a monster crappie out of that pond some time back.
The pics were still up at the ice house in Cedar Hill a while back.

I could also use the loaction of some good bank fishing spots around Joe Pool. Any advice or good spots would be appreciated. The state park on the east side of the lake has lots of bank space and can be productuve at time. The Lynn Creek marina has a fishing barge that will produce a few crappie, though mostly ssmall. By the way welcome to the forum.

Thanks. Yeah i've fished the barge on the state park side and they are mostly small there too. Haven't really fished the banks on the state park side, guess i'll try that this spring with the kids.
