My favorite TNT is the 1/2 ounce blue and white casting spoon. My wife and kids like the 5/8 prism TNT Limit Gitter... This bait picks up Blue cats like live bait does if they are around.

Champ,
I have to agree with The Swamp-man on this one. I generally won't use anything smaller than one ounce, but I use just about every style of TNT made. Mostly in chartreuse and white, also some of the silver prism holographs (or whatever they're called). I always start the day with several reels rigged with different styles and sizes, and start everyone in the boat with something different. I let the fish tell me which ones we all switch to. Sometimes it really doesn't matter, but there are times when one style definitely out-produces another. I think your best bet is to talk to Bryon (TNT manufacturer) and maybe order a mixed bag of slabs and see which ones you like best. XYZ likes the 1/2 ounce blue and white. I'm not saying that's wrong. Other guys like only 1.5 ounce or bigger. I guess what I'm getting at is whatever works for you. All the TNT products are of the same high quality, and you'll find the ones you like.

If you don't know what you need then do what Bob suggests and just email Bryon and tell him what lakes you will be fishing and he can suggest what to use. When he was having his last special I just told him that I fish Lewisville and mostly fish for sandbass and had him make what he thought would work best.

Thanks guys on the responses from all. Champ, what I generally recommend is a good mix to most people on there first order. I can give you a pretty good idea of what has been ordered from past customers on particular lakes. Most of the time I recommend char/white and silver holographics about 50/50 on orders. Depending on what size of slab your comfortable using I can figure out which I think would work best for you. Some guys like small slabs, some larger ones. I would recommend early in the year smaller baits. Larger ones as the water temps rise and the fish become more active. It is also nice to have some of the larger ones on windy days to help keep the bait down while drifting. When the fish are cooperating like they have been of late most any different type will work to be honest. There are days when certain ones work better. I have found I like the silver holographics after about 9am. When the sun starts to come up, the holo goes to work better when it can pick up some light. Most times I would say the 1oz casting spoons, 1oz magnum magnets, 1 1/8 limit gitters will get it done for you. It is nice to have a couple smaller baits when the sandies are surfacing like the 5/8 oz limit gitters or 1/2 casting spoons, this can be fun with the ultralights. The bait stays up higher in the water colum with less work. If your after stripers or hybrids I would recommend 1.5oz and 2oz baits. The casting spoons, magnum magnets, and the striper sniper are good for this. I have sold a bunch of striper snipers to fishermen that fish Lewisville and RC, the bait has a great flutter as it has a bend already made into the cast on the lure. It has been an awesome Hybrid bait. I dont offer it in Holographics though.
My new bait the 180 is a great flutter bait for all in all sizes, but I am holding off on selling it to stock up good for the tackle show, plus it is basketball season for my daughter, plus I need a couple more fishing trips. So I want an easier fall this year.
So feel free to give me a call or email Champ so we can visit about slabs.

1.125 oz casting spoon in chartreuse & white - classic. The limit glitter in gold holographic is my new favorite. And the limit glitter stays down a bit better while drifting & jigging.
