any advice on rigging a super duper without getting line twist but still getting good action from the lure?
tried a swivel about 15 inches above a 501 but with a super slow retrieve but didnt get very good results

What action are you speaking of? I tie a swivel clip to the end of my line and just clip on a superduper. It makes switching out colors a lot easier. Superdupers don't have grooves, fins, or any sort of action as far as I can tell. It's just a bent piece of metal with a hook on the end.
The only thing dumber than a fish is a fisherman.

thought it might spin like a spoon but it came thru the water straight with barely a wobble

I just tie on directly to the snap which came attached to the Super Duper. I have watched it carefully a few times and it seems to spin to one direction a few times and then back to the other direction without tangling the line. I had line tangling issues with Roostertails. My solution was to use the Super Dupers more and the Roostertails as a backup.

It will also help to use very light line with small spoons.

just try a Rapala knot; pretty easy to do, best for lures

finally got a chance to give super dupers a try at samuell farms and caught a micro bass. it still looks funny in the water (compared to a normal spoon). i used 4# line and didnt see any line twist. thanks for the info
