Either day is cool for me because I am definitely going. I missed last year.

My vote would be the 24th. Tried to make it last year, but the weather cancelled the original date. Went fishing anyway, caught a bunch of cats and Reds at the same spot.

Yeah, that was alot of fun A/C. It started out kind of slow for me but I think I made up for it later on (would've been better if I'd brought more fish in then I lost LOL). The 24th sounds good for me too.

My only problem with the later day is the heat. I remember last year it was getting hot out there.

Just FYI ...Mike & Don usually put in alot of time and $ to pull this off every year with their own money asking little in return.
I suggest reducing the payout of the tourney to help cover some of the expenses....just a suggestion...I along with many others appreciate the companionship and gathering of this event.
Hopefully we can keep Justin and Team Barnhill in check this year...LOL.

hey man, it is a done deal if on the 10th! i even got it approved by the queen! she wants to come down too! if on the 24th, i can't come. i have a damn wedding to be in that day! so i am really hopeing they choose the 10th!!

Great suggestion Cliff.
How about not even having a payout,just covering expenses with entry fees and bragging rights to the winners.

We'll work out the money details later. Right now we just need to get everyone marking their calanders and making plans. As of now, based on my conversations with Don and John, we are setting the date for April 10, 2010. We are looking into the possibility of getting another site for the after fishing get together. More to come on that.

Don will have the registration page up and running soon so stay tuned to the forum.

As always we want as many people to come out and join us. If you have never been to one this is the year to come on out. Lots of fun and good people.
