did you learn to tie flies at the jim henson's muppet school of fly tying?

seriously, that is one of the most impressive flies i've seen on this forum. the proportions, colors, material selections, innovation, etc are ALL good. and it's very dramatic and good looking to boot, which will make it an excellent presentation/demo fly. well done!

but...that front view does look pretty funny. lol

and i vote for wader noob's name: the sculpin of doom! (with the exclamation point. it HAS to have the exclamation point.)

Looks great and truly innovative. That may just scare a big bass enough either jump into your boat, or die of shock and float to the surface. Either way, you win.

AND the echoes following after. Such a dramatic fly requires a dramatic entrance. Not that it need be in all caps mind you... that's just presumptuous.

Very very very nice, nice very much.

So what is the fuzzy stuff spun on the hooks? Looks almost like Krystal Flash.

That material that are you using to tandem up the two hooks? That appears braided. What might that be?

Once again, very very very nice stuff.

Just ordered a passel of Congo Hair and some other Fly Tyer!s Dungeon goodies. How does he do it? Those prices are insane!!

Is that EP Fiber spun on the shank or stacked? Pretty much looks like it has to be spun.
