Greetings,

I am new to the forum here. I live in Hurst and have been doing shoreline fishing. I have pretty good gear, and looking for opportunities to get out on a boat and do better damage than what I have been doing on ponds and lakes from shore. I prefer LMB fishing, but am open to others but not really a catfish guy (not that there's anything wrong with that!).

I am in my early 50's, a non-smoker, and just looking to have fun and catch a few more fish. I am willing to drive a ways 1-2 hours as needed, and would also like to look into fishing in some tournaments from the back of the boat, etc. Drop me a line or post here and I will get back to you. My home email is jwhelan56@sbcglobal.net.

Many thanks,

Jim

You might want to consider joining a bass club. There are quite a few that assist non-boaters.

Morning Jim. I mostly fish in East Texas but there are some good lakes out your way. You free on the weekends?

Hi Allen,

Yep, I'm free most weekends. I am attending the Bass University in Grapevine the 6th and 7th of February, but you can give me a call at 214-769-3101 (cell), or email at home is jwhelan56@sbcglobal.net.

Many thanks!

Jim
