What models do you own?

I run a Lund 1825 Explorer with a 150 Merc. Have had it 2 1/2 years now with very few problems.

I operate a 2004 17' Mr. Pike equipped with a 115 hp merc. Similar to the recently produced crappie edition models but the gunnels are wider and rod storage is on the sides, not the middle.

Best I recall, mine is a 1900 ProV with a 225 Optimax.

2006 Lund 1700 Fisherman, I put about 75 hours a year on the hour meter.... absolultely no problems. 115 HP Merc 4 stroke.

I live in Iowa but I pull this boat from Minnesota to Texas, and several sights in between

(The hull of the Fisherman boat is that of a previous Tyee so it is a nice deep boat)

Dryest boat I have ever owned, handles well in rough water.
I have plenty of storage with in floor rod compartment, plus side panel rod storage.

I love my Lund and I love my Dealer.

I've got a 18ft explorer with a 115 merc also. Probably put a few more hours on it than the average fisherman. It's a comfortable boat to fish out of. Call me if you need more info.
I also run a 2009 24ft skeeter with a 250 yamaha. It handles the water excellent and hardly ever will get you wet. If your getting wet in it you shouldn't be out there.

I have a 2009 1825 Explorer Sport walk thru, 115 Merc 4 stroke, It's the perfect boat for me. Honest 40 mph, dry smooth ride, lots of storage,protection from the wind for me and my passengers.

Thanks. I thought many of you ran explorers. I am only window shopping as I am house shopping at the moment. However, I may contact you guys (Thanks Chuck) to discuss the models later. I need to see what the garage will accommodate. I love my rig and everyone who has fished it loves it. The only issue I have is it is tough to fish in the wind.

I crawled all over Joe's Lunds at the show and love the Rebels. Not quite the storage of the explorers and it has only one live well. It does have an extending rear casting deck. I also like the vinyl deck. They were very nice.

We will see how things play out next year. The Rebel line will be two years old and I could pick one up at a reasonable price. It would be tough to let my rig go, but I could manage.

I am also looking for a boat and I have one question. Guy you said you had very few problems, what were some of the problems? Also how many people do you fish in your boat and stay comfortable.? Thanks Steve

There were no problems that 'came with the hull'. My only problems have been some electrical, dealing with installation. My 18'er will fish four people very comfortably and the 150 Verado Merc has all the torque and speed anyone would want. I just took my trailer into the shop to have everything gone over. Now it's good for another two years. You can't go wrong with a Lund.
