I'll be taking my boys to Colorado Bend in a few weeks for spring break, and would appreciate any reports.
Thanks,
Greg

I visited a local Fly-shop here in San Antonio and spoke to someone who frequents the CBSP white bass run. I was told that spring break is not a good time to go. The best time would be around a week before, after the break, or if all you can do is spring break then visit during the week early in the morning. Otherwise it is almost impossible to fish with all the commotion.

I agree, there is a little commotion. But, its still alot of fun, and my boys have a ball regardless. Me, my brother, and a college buddy have been going the last couple of years, with seven boys between us, 6-12yrs old, and despite all the commotion, just in our camp, we manage to catch a few fish.
If anyones been lately, or headed that way soon, I'd appreciate any reports.
Thanks

any newer reports? haven't heard much about the whites running here, but planning to start making my annual weekend runs over the next couple of weeks. (its a good 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive for me...so if there are any newer reports, I'd love to hear em.
thanks!
