Humminbird is starting to release the upgrade features: Down Imaging, Switchfire 2D, Faster GPS Refresh Rate and LakeMaster Compatibility and more. Remember not all unit are released at once. Humminbird releases each model as it becomes available instead of waiting for all models to be completed before releasing. So just because your model is not listed today does not mean it will not see enhancements. Please give them some time to get all models released: New Releases as of 1/12/2010: 1197c - v4.750 1157c - v4.750 1155c - v4.750 997c - v4.750 957c - v4.750 955c - v4.750 937c - v4.750 931c - v4.740 917c - v4.750 798c/798ci - v4.780 788c/788ci - v4.780 786ci - v4.750 778c - v4.740 768 - v4.760 767 - v4.760 757c - v4.760 755 - v4.740 747 - v4.740 737 - v4.760 728 - v4.760 727 - v4.760 718 - v4.760 717 - v4.760 These are the one's I've seen so far. I received an email yesterday saying that Humminbird has figured out how to add downscan to the 797c2 and will notify when it is ready for download.

981c - 4.750
947c - 4.750
797c2/797c2i - 4.770
787c2/787c2i - 4.770
777c2 - v4.740
785c2/785c2i - 4.770
Matrix 97 - v4.750
Matrix 47 - v4.750
Matrix 12 - v4.750
This should complete Down Imaging for all Side Imaging units produced since 2004.
Plus Switchfire and other feature upgrades for almost all models.

Does anyone know where I can download a 998 owners manual. Since I upgraded to 4.750 on my 997, I would like a new manual.

I have a 997 at the console and a 797 up front. I did the upgrade on the 997, erased the card and downloaed the new update for the 797 but when I put the card into the 797 nothing happens, any ideas?

I cant locate my disc that came with my hummingbird to load into my pc. does anyone know where to get a new. Also, how do you uplad software updates?

Is the update on the card? Make sure the power is off when you insert the card. Should work as soon as you power on.

I followed the instructions. Reset defaults. Powered off. Insert card and powered back on. Powered back on as usual.
