well went to Dallas for a hospital visit ..had a member having surgery at Baylor ....so I carried my cast net along knowing I would have about 4 to 6 hours to kill ....After praying with her and the family ...I ran down to white rock lake to try my luck for some shad...made 5 or 6 throws with nothing then tried another spot....this is what I hauled in........

107 ......................8 to 12 inch gizzards! yea! bait for the winter! and the Lord blessed again with a successful surgery! now tomorrow I will be using my new bait to catch the lake record!

Those are pretty hard to beat. That's some prime bait there BT. Very nice. I'm thinking you are the winner of the "one throw" threads so far by a good margin

Boy that is great I get so tired of throwing that net to keep you in bait. I can go on vacation. He don't let me fish he grabs the rod when it gets a bite . If he determines it is little one then he will say here you can roll this one in.

reprint ....we ended up with 29 bags with 4 big gizzards a bag totaling 116 ! Johnny the last time you threw the net it was when you were unloading it from the boat! And even then you ended up inside it crying for help!

I caught them in the creek ...off the bank!

I'll have you to know BT I throw it you all the time so you can throw it. If you mess with me I will quit doing that and make you walk to the other end of the boat and get it yourself. SO THERE.
