I am headin out towards Travis this weekend, near the split of the Colorado, and curious if anyone had been out there lately. Just tryin to get a little food to help this college kid survive. Oh yeah, and have some fun.

fish that area most every week. the crappie are in 25-35ft. fish 2-4ft off the bottom. occasionally they move up below the shad to 16-20ft. they really shut off and suck up tight to cover if low pressure is moving in. good luck and leave a few for me.

hey fellow austinites-

We're heading out to Lake Travis tomorrow evening. Good Luck to those heading out.
Send me an email if anyone is heading out as well and I'll put you on 'em!
