I haven't caught a carp/buff going on two weeks now. Why is the water so damn clear? Where did the carp go?

I think he broke one off, but he did catch a fish on a boilie that i set him up with. slow but a good day to show him some of the baits and different rigs. Oh ya Grassiegetter the only reason i am catching so many is work is slow so i have more time. If you ever want someone to show you how to git it done, pm me and we can meet up somewhere and give it a try! Not bad fishing for a rookie! Just sounds like you are afraid of being beat at your own game!lol

True. Maybe this summer when I'm outdoors away from work sitting in my chair with a cold one, blanking wont seem so bad. But man it sucks when your paying your dues in the cold. Nuff cryin.

after new years day I have not caught a fish in 3 sessions, pretty tough out there
PB Common = 36-8
PB Buffalo = 62-8
PB Mirror (fully scaled) 13-0
PB Flat Head Catfish = 44

Its better to blank then to catch a lot of small fish I'd rather catch small fish than no fish! If you're catching tons of small fish, it perhaps means the Lake doesn't contain any large ones. I'm with Leo here, give me a low stocked Lake and sit and wait for the big ones. The occasional blank, but glory in the end!
