My little brother is down at Falcon with the rest of the college kids for the tournament tomorrow. He is fishing for Tarleton, they are hoping a team from their club can repeat from last year...Good luck to all the kids but especially little brother. I told him he better kick a** cause i'll be wishing all weekend that I was down there with them...

I think there's two teams from Texas down there, good luck to them. I hope the weather is a little better and safer for them today.

I wish I was there, but I just couldn't bring myself to stay in school another semester just to fish...

Yeah he told me it was really windy when they got there yesterday. They were expecting it to be similar today.The college kids have to stay on the U.S. side so that will eliminate some of the potential problems that could happen.

just found out that my little bro didnt get to fish...they didnt know till registration this morning that they were bumped...I guess one team got shuffled around so his team got bumped down one place and therefore got screwed...He was absolutely livid when we spoke, since they made the drive down there for nothing....

I talked to him again and they are hitting up the tackle shops looking for somebody to just take them fishing...He still doesn't understand what happened, as far as he knew they were a confirmed entry....

That shouldn't happen... If you get the confirmation email from FLW you should be in. Did they make the field smaller due to a lack of boaters or something? I know one team that was confirmed didn't even show up, I believe it was from Lamar or LSU, I forget which.

I dont know..him and his partner were team #36, and then one kid was added or changed on one team and after that they were bumped down to #41 and only 40 teams got to fish....
