Yes I did see that. I have two new in the box and one slightly used. I quess they just became the most exspensive reels I own.

Sold !! For $400 !!
Hah, hah. One did sell on eBay for $350 and $300 and $250 recently and one just sold for $304 on eBay and one right now is at $334 I think with about 5 hours left.

something's fishy about that...
if it's anyone here biding, besides the gearset you can get a new sideplate for a 6:1 or 5:1 reel so that it says 3.8:1...and all for way less than $300...

I bet you can get a buyer for $400. At least $350 someone will pay for it in good condition.
But there are 4 listed right now on eBay for $300 Buy It Now, used but with box, tools and papers.
And one recently sold for $334, and $304, and the highest was $350 pretty recently and another for $300 and $250.
So at least we know they are worth at least $300 on the market right now. It's like with anything, it's worth what people are willing to pay and during an auction when people want it pretty bad then the price goes up.
I guess those reels are all the rage right now for bass fishing.
