It was 27 when we got to the boat ramp and there was a line to unload the boat. started of slow but it never stop we left them biting. we were 1 shy of 2 limits. Met a fellow 2 cooler member [ loy and his son ] they are some nice people and helpful, sharing a few tips. here are som pics.

Has the water cleared up since last week and the rains around xmas? I fished last week a few times and the bite was slow with the changing weather.

Yes I do remove the ribs. yes the water has cleared up. I just wonder how long it is going to last.

Good to know the water has cleared up. I was wantign to go back out. Went from limits/near limts to less than 10 when that water changed.

I don't think the water at kickapoo has ever been clear! It's chocolate yohoo out there the first time I went.

On a seperate note, I used to fish the river for trash fish (bass) is there ever any decent crappie up in there? Spring I guess?

Nice catch! I got me a lot of them out of there also. Should start pickin up again next week after it warms up again and the water settles out after the little shower this morning.
