Honey Hole was the best!!! I remember watching Jerry Dean ride some star wars type tripod boat at benbrook on one of his episodes. It was crazy! God Bless the entire Dean family.

Storm should come out with a commemorative Fire Tiger Thunderstick in his honor.

Will truely be missed, was a good advocate for our sport, was not afraid to speak his mind when it came to fishing rights.

Floyd Yarbrough emailed this picture of Mr. Dean from 1988. The HH cap is a nice touch. Thanks Floyd.

My condolences to the Dean family. Jerry was an icon to N. Texas fishing for many years. He'll be missed.

Here's another photo I found thru google. It's autographed so I thought that was a nice touch. I'm also quoting the caption under the photo on the page it's from.

Quote:
Jerry Dean & Clyde A. Harbin, Sr. after shooting a segment on "Old Texas Lures" for the Honey Hole TV Magazine in Lake Fork, Alba, Texas on April 25, 1991. Jerry is holding a small Livingston Hinckley "Phantom Float" made out of aluminum that is marked January 12, 1897.

He will be missed, a north Texas legend in the fishing world. I have about 100+ of his Fliptail Floating lizards.
They were developed for Lake Monte back in the late 80's and still work today. Prayers sent to the family we have lost a great Texan fishing legend flag
