Man, I hope that was just a bad bottle. Just bought some last weekend. Most everyone likes it that I have talked to.

Make sure you "shake contents" well before use.

I think that I just have a bad bottle or I let it get bad. I keep it in the boat which is garaged so the heat and cold might have affected it. This is my 2nd or 3rd bottle and I have never had any problems with it. It is good enough for me to keep buying it. My next bottle will be kept in the house.

Sounds like it may have froze up some and thawed out. I'm sure Rob F can elaborate more on the chemical properties of the product and what may have caused this. Feel free to contact me if you have any other concerns or questions...

Bassitup,
We are sorry to hear about your problem with Line & Lure. The product is "batched" produced in runs of thousands at a time so the likelihood of you getting a bad bottle is very unlikely and we would have heard from many others if there were a bad batch. The product can freeze and separate though. If this happens, we suggest you place the bottle in the microwave with sprayer removed and heat to about 120 degrees (just too hot to hold) or normally about 30 seconds. Use a towel to hold the bottle, re-attach the sprayer and shake like heck for about 20 seconds. This should do the trick for you. Also, dont use Line & Lure with any other product on the line like WD-40, Reel Magic or other oil-based products. The result can be a filmy mess as the products react.
In any case, we appreciate you and all of our customers. The product is covered by a 100% guarantee and we will happily replace the product or refund your money. If the trick above doesnt work for you, call us at (972) 221-9797 and we will make it right for you. We want you happy with our products.
Rob

Does the Line & Lure come in larger bottles than the 4 ounce? Or a better deal than the $8.99 that I see in most places?

Tommy, You can buy Line & Lure from the factory in 16 oz and gallons. 16 oz is $19.95 and gallons are $49.95. Per ounce they are a big savings over buying the 4oz. bottles at the store. We also have our "scratch and dent" sale going on at our webstore. You can buy Line & Lure for $5.00 each while supplies last. You can find all of these items on our webstore at: Line & Lure

I ordered 3 of the scratch & dent bottles, 2 had wrinkled labels and I could find nothing on the 3rd. Great deal. Plus a bottle last me 6-9 months and I spray5-6 reels before I head out.
