Best place to crappie fish around Arlington?

I am a catfish guy, but my Uncle and I want to try to find some good crappie in a boat. Dont want to travel too far, but will travel some..

people do catch some good ones at benbrook i once caught an 18 inch crappie there

Out of the list above those are tough lakes to fish if you don't know what to look for. I would go to Lewisville and hit up the bridge and some creeks.

Spend the extra time and go to lewisville, at least there you have a chance.
+1 Lewisville is your best bet this time of year.

You guys are making me think that there is no crappie in Lake Arlington this time of year. Find yourself some 20+' depth brushpiles and along the dam, you won't have to worry about wasting gas nor time... Good luck!

You guys are making me think that there is no crappie in Lake Arlington this time of year. Find yourself some 20+' depth brushpiles and along the dam, you won't have to worry about wasting gas nor time... Good luck!  I miss Arlington Crappies but I only know where to get them in April

alington is tough in winter for me,grandbury,j poole,benbrook, mineral wells would be my close picks,but thats just me!

If any of those lakes have a creek in them I would hit those up I went crappie fishing this weekend WW at Hubbard Creek Lake and got a nice mess of them from up the creek. Remember to throw backanything under 10 inches and measure the ones your not sure about if its your first time because alot of the ones we got were 9 3/4 inches I still have to measure most of mine lol
